Gymnastics Center
We offer a beginner to intense athletic training program indoors in all-around gymnastics, power tumbling, acrobatics, and cheer-leading. Gymnastics training is guaranteed to improve strength, balance, and coordination. These skills are proven to not only be helpful to our athletes but also increase athletic performance for individuals in other sports looking for off-season training. Be sure to sign up early as these spots fill up quickly. Schedules and more information are available at the front desk.

Private and Semi-Private Lessons
One & two person sessions that will be arranged between the instructor and the parent after you have been placed with an instructor. Packages are offered in seven, 55 minute lessons.
Rumble Tumble 1 yrs. & 2 yrs.
Introduction class where kids will be able to explore the equipment with their parent’s assistance while working on achieving basic gymnastics skills. This helps to better prepare the children for beginner gymnastics.
Beginner Gymnastics 3 yrs. & 4 yrs.
Basic tumbling skills including front roll, straddle rolls, crab walks, handstand, and cartwheels. Learning uneven bar skills while holding their own weight with flips done under the bar. They will also develop skills holding their own weight above the bar. Learning basic skills on the high beam and developing proficient springboard vaulting skills. (At this age, Parents are required to stay during the class)
Beginner Gymnastics 5 yrs. & Up

Novice Gymnastics
Beginning to work on faster, more advanced tumbling, skills on the beam, and developing the skills to hold their own weight while performing flips above the bar. Connecting springboard vaulting skills with flips.
Intermediate Gymnastics
Have passed all skills for Novice, while increasing difficulty on all apparatus. Heavier conditioning will also be included at this level.
Pre-Team
This class is in preparation for athletes that are wanting to participate on one of our competitive teams. Class is extended an extra half hour to prepare athletes for the longer practice times. Participants will be evaluated beforehand and progress to the gymnastics team or tumbling team. Pre-Team will teach the skills needed to become a competitive team member. There will be a strong focus on conditioning and flexibility.
Intro to Power Tumbling
This class is geared for those athletes not interested in training on beam bars or vault but strictly on more advanced tumbling skills. The purpose of this class is to help prepare athletes wanting to get onto our Power Tumbling Competitive Team instead of the Gymnastics Competitive Team.
Beginner Cheer
The program is a structured progressive level program that starts with at a beginner pace, which requires no prior cheer experience.
Cheer Squad
The Y Cheer Squad will perform at the Y Basketball games & Macomb JFL football games. JFL runs August – October, while Y B-Ball runs December – March. Contact Tonya Schmidt for more information.
Circus Acro
If you love Circus Academy, then this is the class for you! Come learn basic gymnastics and group stunting skills. Get the chance to present your skills in local town performances throughout the year.
