The YMCA of McDonough County would like to THANK all the members the STAYED WITH US during this time. Our members are the backbone of the Y and without you we would crumble. We are also dedicated to keeping our community healthy, safe and thriving for all. Thanks to YOUR support the YMCA is able to provide emergency childcare for essential workers, emergency Summer Camp for essential workers, make one-on-one phone calls to ensure the most vulnerable seniors are safe and well, and provide home delivered meals to seniors in our community. You were here for your community when it needed you most, and we remain here for you! 

Please be assured that the safety of our members, program participants and staff is our number one priority. We have followed guidance from the CDC, our local Health Department to update our policies, practices and procedures.



If you placed your membership on Hold please contact or fill out the Contact Form on our website! We will reply to you and let you know the process of reinstating your membership and the length of time it will take to begin utilizing the facility. Please be patient because it may take longer than usual as we navigate the reopening guidelines.


All Members and Staff will have a no contact temperature checks before entering the building.
Any Staff or Members with a temperature of 100.0 degrees or above will not be allowed to enter the building.
Everyone will enter the building through the Dudley Street door and exit at the Calhoun Street door. 

All Members and Staff are required to wear face masks or facial coverings over their nose and mouth while in the facility. You do not have to wear masks while exercising.

Online COVID 19 Waivers must be signed prior to utilizing the facility.


If you do not know your KEYTAG number, email and we will email it to you.
Only adults 18 years of age or older are allowed to sign waiver. Parents must sign for those 17 and under.
Only one adult needs to sign for each family membership.

Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday CLOSED 

Reduced capacity and time limits will be enforced. Check In and Checking Out is mandatory.

No Guests or Nationwide Memberships accepted at this time.

Please remember to Social Distance and stay 6 ft. apart.

All members must be 16 or older to use the facility (waivers must be signed by parent/guardian).

We are lowering the age limit to utilize the YMCA!
14 yrs old & up can attend the YMCA on their own and have full use of the facility.
Any Youth 13 years old and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian that stays with them while using the facility.
Age 13 yr old can use the Track & Weight & Cardio rooms with a parent only; not alone.
Due to COVID-19 concerns we strongly encourage you to bring your own water bottle, towel and sports equipment (basketball, volleyball, soccer ball, etc.) NO sharing except within your own household and you must stay distanced away from other family units.

Pool Open for Reservation Lap Swim only, please call to reserve a lane. Swimmers will be allowed a max of 45 minutes a day to lap swim. The current hours are as follows-

If possible please arrive ready and dressed in workout attire. Lockers and showers will be available but limited capacity. Unavailable: Options Locker Rooms (You may go in to retrieve your belongings.)

Bring your own water bottle - Water Fountains Unavailable.   

Members must disinfect fitness equipment Before and After Use.


Racquetball & Nursery are unavailable.

Outdoor Fitness Classes Schedules with limits. (Please bring your own yoga mat) Northside Gym Classes will be available with restrictions and other Virtual Classes will be offered Online.

Senior Center will continue to have home delivered meals only; No programming or congregate on site meals available.
