| Basketball |
First -Sixth Grade "Pre-Season" Basketball
For boys and girls who would like to learn and further develop basketball skills. Situational skills and scrimmage games will be the focus. TEAMS NOT FORMED.
Fall II Session
First-Sixth Grade Basketball League
For boys and girls. Teams will be formed for grades one and two; three and four; five and six. Games played Saturday mornings each Winter Session.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Instructional Basketball
For boys and girls, ages 4 – 6, who would like to learn basketball skills and techniques. Dribbling, shooting, passing, team play and scrimmage games will be the focus. Teams not formed. Fall II Session and Winter Session.
Junior High Basketball League
For boys and girls. Teams formed. Games played Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons beginning in February. Check with Don Mutch for actual dates and times.
Junior High School Pick-up Basketball
For anyone in seventh or eighth grade who would like to play full court basketball. Court time Fridays from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

| Volleyball (Offered Fall I & Fall II Sessions) |
| Third through Eighth Grade Volleyball
For boys and girls in grades 3 - 8 who want to learn the basic skills to play volleyball. This sport develops quickness and good hand-eye coordination. Basic skills progressing toward more advanced skills in Fall I. Situational skills and scrimmage games with review of Fall I skills will be included in the Fall II classes. Teams not formed. (Times subject to change based on instructor availability.)

| Soccer (Offered Spring and Fall I Sessions) |
Pre K & Kindergarten Soccer
For boys and girls interested in learning the basic skills of soccer and participation in weekly games. Focus on skill development with an emphasis on fun. This will consist of a maximum of one weekly practice and one game. Participants do NOT need to attend a clinic. Classes are taught at Edison School field. There is a uniform deposit due at the time of registration. Late registration fees will be applied.
(No games WIU Homecoming weekend).
First through Twelve Grade Soccer League
For boys and girls interested in advancing their soccer skills. Games played at Edison School field on Saturdays. Children 8 and above will be playing two weeknight games during the session. There is a uniform deposit due at the time of registration. Late registration fees will be applied. All players are encouraged to attend the Preseason Skills Clinics led by the WIU Men's and Women's Soccer Clubs. These will be a fun and enjoyable experience and a great way to 'Kick Off" your child's soccer season.
Spring 2007 League
March 31 – May 5
ALL players are invited to a Preseason Skills Clinic led by the WIU Men’s and Women’s Club Soccer Teams.
Dates offered: March 19th @ 4PM or March 20th @ 4PM.
Late fees apply after March 20th Deadline.
Fall 2007 League Sept 8 - Oct 20, 2007
(No games WIU Homecoming weekend).
ALL players are invited to a Preseason Skills Clinic by the WIU Men’s and Women’s Club Soccer Teams.

Kindergarten, First and Second Grade Flag Football League
For boys and girls. Team placement clinics scheduled at Edison School Field. Each participant must attend one clinic. Games played Sunday afternoons at Edison School field. (No games WIU Homecoming weekend).
Third and Fourth Grade – Fifth and Sixth Grade Flag Football League
For boys and girls. Team placement clinics scheduled at Edison School Field. Each participant must attend one clinic. Games played Sunday afternoons at Edison School field. (No games WIU Homecoming weekend).
Fall 2007 League Sept 8 - Oct 20, 2007
Participants need to attend one placement clinic. Clinics: August 20 - 4:30 p.m. or August 21 - 4:30 p.m.
Late fees apply after August 22th Deadline.
It is strongly recommended that each participant use a personal mouthgard
during all practices and games.

| Youth Special Activities |
Youth Fitness
Evaluation: Run cooperatively with Macomb Unit District #185. Physical
fitness testing for all school district children in kindergarten through
fifth grade. Directed by Cathy McMillan, WIU Physical Education Department.
At the YMCA during March and April. Supported by Macomb Kiwanis Club.

| Adult/Teen/Family Special Activities |
| Milestone Club: Log your distance at the desk each time you run, walk or swim at the Y. 100 miles logged receive a free YMCA t-shirt. 500 miles logged will receive a free long sleeve T-shirt. 1000 miles logged receive sweatshirt. Members Only.

| Swim Team |
| A
competitive swim program for children who are able to swim at least
one length of the pool. YMCA philosophy of fun and fairness strictly
adhered to throughout the swim season that runs from October through
mid-March. In addition to swimming skills, participants develop self-esteem,
confidence, time management skills, regard for others, and much more.
Fees are payable directly to
the Swim Parents Association. For Members Only.

Gymnastics compulsory
and optional competition provided at dual (inter-Y), state and national
levels. Team members selected on a tryout basis. Participants develop
self-esteem, confidence, time management skills, regard for others and
much more. Fees
payable directly to Gymnastics Parents Association. For Members Only.

| Adult/Teen Sports Leagues |
| Pick-Up Basketball: Pick-up play at noon. Get a group together and play Full Court ball from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Also open for high school men’s Full Court play on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Thursday Evening Full Court is open from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for those 32 and older.

| First Aid and CPR |

American Red Cross Community First Aid
and Safety
Designed to teach the individual how to recognize and respond to
sudden injury or illness until medical assistance is available. Includes
Adult, Infant, and Child CPR and Standard First Aid. Certification
earned upon successful completion of skills and written examinations.
Sign up for either or both certifications. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
(a minimum of three days prior to the beginning of the class). Books,
if desired, will be available for purchase at the time of registration.
Class will meet upstairs at the YMCA Community Child Care Center using
the Piper Street entrance.
American Red Cross Community CPR
Review
Is your CPR about to expire? Enroll in a CPR Review class, successfully
complete skills and written tests, and renew that CPR certificate.
Pre-registration is required (a minimum of three days prior to the
