American Red Cross Lifeguarding

Certifications earned upon successful completion of class include: ARC Lifeguarding and First Aid, CPR for the Professional Resuer (PR), and AED. Must be 15 years old by the first day of class and be able to pass a preliminary swim test. If under 18 years of age, must also have Parental Consent to Participate form signed prior to attending the first class. Successful completion of the course includes attending all class meetings, passing all tests, and demonstrating the maturity to perform the duties of a professional lifeguard. American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer Review Course

This course is designed for those who wish to renew their CPR-PR and AED. This is the certification used by lifeguards, nurses, EMTs and doctors. This is a testing day and not a teaching course. Both practical skills and written tests are included and passing both is required for re-certifications. Participants need to bring their own poket mask. Pre-registration is required. Contact the Front Desk for exact times and dates.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Review Course

This course is designed for those who have current or recently (within 6 months) expired ARC Lifeguard Certification. Instruction and skills practice to update to the most current ARC Lifeguard Certification will be provided. Participants must attend the entire class time and pass all written and skill tests. Certification upon successful completion includes ARC Lifeguarding and First Aid and CPR-PR and AED. Pre-registration is required. Contact the Front Desk for exact times and dates.

American Red Cross Community CPR, AED, and First Aid

Designed to teach individuals how to recognize and respond to sudden injury or illness until medical assistance is available. Includes Adult, Infant and Child CPR, AED and Standard First Aid. Certification earned upon successful completion of skills and written examinations. Individuals will need to contact the Fitness/Aquatics Director for current offerings.

Group Rates Available for CPR, AED and FIrst Aid!

Groups of 6 to 10 people will be offered a special group rate for trainings. Contact the Fitness/Aquatic Director to discuss your training needs. Training books and materials are provided. ARC fees included in training price.
