Tae Kwon Do  for Youth and Adult .

Taught by Sensai Willie Jones, Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial arts form that was developed over 1000 years ago and has become on of the worlds most successful and popluar martial arts. Its practitioners enjoy physical and mental discipline, self-confidence, as well as excellent fitness levels. While famous for its wide range of high kicks and high energy levels, Tae Kwon Do also focuses on sparring and learning formal patterns of moements called forms. Sensai Jones is a second degree black belt in the arts and has studied for morw than 25 years.

 

T'ai Chi

Taught by Sensai Jones, T'ai Chi is a Korean form of exercise characterized by a series of slow and deliberate ballet-like body movements. The routines keep perticipants constantly moving but are gentle on the joints. T'ai Chi helps develop better breathing methods, lowers blood pressure, and improves balance. This moving meditation is ideal for seniors or those seeking a gentle yet effective form of exercise.

 

Classes meet at the YMCA Child Care Center

Tae Kwon Do - Youth  6:30 pm

Tae Kwon Do - Adult  7:30 pm

 

Class dates and times will be rotating on a Monday, Tuesday then Wednesday, Thursday basis.
