2008 Summer Day Camp “Takes Flight ”

For children going into kindergarten through seventh grades in the fall of 2008 (Kindergartners must be 5 years of age by June 2, 2008). 

Adventure Camp (Kindergarten through 3rd grade)

You won't want to miss this adventure. We'll be taking a full nose dive into the wide world of flight. Who flew the first airplane? What is NASA and what do they do? Let your minds wander as we soar through the summer with new and exciting adventures. Our flight plan won't be the same without you. Book your tickets now!

Varsity Camp (Fourth - Seventh grade)

Varsity Camp will give our older campers the age division that they need. Still under the Summer Day Camp "Takes Flight," the Varsity Campers will dig into the world of flight from a different perspective. Daily activities will be geared towards the experienced camper's level.

Meets from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except July 4.

Extended Camp available from 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Dates: June 2 - August 15, 2008

Site: YMCA Community Childcare Center playground. Member and Non-Member Fee's Available

(Summer Membership available upon registration).

Day Camping will help participants:

Emphasis is placed on nature education, environmental awareness, strengthening of values, development of self-esteem and FUN. Special focus will be made on small group activities.

Children bring a sack lunch. Water will be provided. Materials fee and first week payment due at sign up.
